Hard Country’s Rick Snelson passed away on Jan 10, and leaves behind his wife, Audra, and two children and two grandchildren. Rick was born and raised in Sacramento, and got started in radio in 1982 here at KVMR. He also worked at KSTN, a rock n roll station in Sacramento. He survived cancer 5 times, but was hit in the head with a tree branch while trimming trees, and died a few days later. Rick met Audra in highschool, but they didn’t date until a few years later, when Audra was 21 and Rick was 24. His last words to Audra were, “I love you darlin’, goodnight!”
