After not feeling well for about a week, Attila Simon went to the emergency room on March 14, 2021. After several tests, including an MRI to evaluate his concerning symptoms, doctors found a mass. He was immediately transferred to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital where he spent the next five days. During his stay, biopsies confirmed a diagnosis of stage IV pancreatic cancer with metastasis. Attila is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavillon in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He has been unable to work due to the severity of the treatments.
