Meet Aspen Baxter, a strong and determined individual who is working towards greater independence and living life to the fullest. As a member of the disability community, Aspen faces unique challenges every day.

Despite facing significant challenges after a medication injury in September 2021 that left her paralyzed, Aspen remains determined to promote accessibility and empower others with disabilities.

Aspen's life took a dramatic turn when she was injured, leading to paralysis, seizures, and chronic pain. With over five medical appointments a week, she faces daily challenges that would be overwhelming for anyone. Yet, Aspen's spirit remains unbroken. She dreams of living independently again, pursuing her passions, and inspiring others to do the same.

As trustees of the Aspen Baxter Trust, we're dedicated to supporting Aspen's journey towards returning to a life of greater independence and her goals in helping to break barriers, to support lifestyles that maximizes one's abilities to thrive.

We're raising funds to complete Aspen's tiny home, a safe and fully accessible space designed to promote independence and comfort. Additionally, we aim to purchase essential equipment that will enhance Aspen's daily life, but unfortunately, that insurance won't cover. Our long term goals would include a more accessible vehicle or in the instance it becomes safe for her to drive again, a hand driven vehicle or modifications for her to drive.
