Supporting Ash & John Paul – In Loving Memory of Lila

There are simply no words to describe the heartbreak and devastation that our beautiful friends Ash and John Paul are experiencing right now.

Yesterday, their world was shattered when their precious 10-year-old daughter, Lila, tragically lost her life in a car accident near Wynyard.

In the same accident, Ash's mum, Caroline, was seriously injured and is currently in a serious but stable condition in hospital in Hobart.

No parent should ever have to experience the unimaginable pain of losing a child. At just 10 years old, Lila had her whole life ahead of her. A beautiful young life taken far too soon, leaving behind a family, friends and community struggling to comprehend such a heartbreaking loss.

As Ash and John Paul try to navigate the unimaginable grief of losing their little girl, they are also facing the worry and uncertainty surrounding Caroline's recovery.

During a time like this, the last thing any family should have to worry about is finances.

We have created this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial pressure on Ash and John Paul in the weeks and months ahead. Donations will help with funeral expenses, travel and accommodation to be close to Caroline in Hobart, time away from work, and everyday living expenses while they grieve and begin to navigate life after such an unimaginable loss.
