In Loving Memory of Antcho Sanha

Hello, my name is Anisio Barreto. It is with a heavy heart that I post this. I am reaching out to you due to the tragic passing of my beloved mother Antcho on December 14th. She had been fighting cancer since April spending many nights in and out of the hospital. After Thanksgiving, she was admitted into the hospital for the last time and spent the last few weeks in the critical care unit. On December 13th we stayed with her at the hospital in hopes that she was getting better, but at 5:30 on December 14th she passed away. She leaves behind three loving kids and a loving husband. Her loss has left a void in my heart and in the lives of everyone who knew her.

My mom was an incredible person who touched the lives of so many. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for her family and friends. She dedicated her life to supporting, protecting, and serving her family in every way she possibly could. After almost a decade apart from her family, she was finally able to come to America and finally get to reunite with her family and be happy, but she didn’t get to savor it for long. Her spirit and love will always be remembered.

In light of her passing, I am seeking your support to help cover the costs associated with her memorial services and to honor her legacy. The cost for her memorial service as well as some of the hospital bills incurred comes to $13,000. Any contribution, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated and help ease my family’s financial burden during this challenging time.
