Our dear friend Annie unexpectedly lost her husband and best friend, Mike, while they were on vacation. A trip that should have been filled with memories became an unimaginable tragedy.

Mike was a gentle soul with a big heart who also knew how to light up a room. He could be the life of the party, making people laugh and bringing everyone together. He loved his motorcycles, but nothing compared to the love he had for his family. Mike was an amazing husband to Annie, a devoted father to Maggie and Anthony, and a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched so many lives.

His loss leaves a hole that words cannot describe. Annie has lost her best friend and partner in life. Maggie and Anthony have lost their dad—the person who loved them more than anything.

As Annie begins to navigate life without Mike, she is facing a weight no one should ever have to carry. Beyond the heartbreak, there are many challenges ahead as she works to rebuild life for herself and her children.

Those who know Annie know the size of her heart. She is the person who always shows up, always gives, and never hesitates to help others. She has given the shirt off her back countless times, and now it’s our turn to be there for her.
