Supporting Anne Through Cancer

This fundraiser is being made on behalf of my mother Anne Roberts. Those who know her can attest to her kindness and willingness to help others. Over the summer, while visiting family in Malaysia, she was diagnosed with Colorectal cancer. Since then she has remained in Malaysia while undergoing numerous cycles of radiation and chemotherapy. Unfortunately after some tiring and stressful months, there wasn't a significant reduction in her tumor. She was told her best option at beating cancer was to have her tumor surgically removed and undergo a permanent colostomy. To return to our family, she has decided to complete her treatment and recovery in the U.S. Many are aware of the high medical bills given by most American hospitals. As she is unfit to work (therefore no longer eligible for workplace insurance) and dealing with previous medical payments, this has placed a financial burden on our family. Your generosity would allow her receive treatment and recover soundly with a clear mind. Anything from donations, sharing this fundraiser, and prayers are appreciated and make a difference. We want to give her the ability to return to a normal life and thank all of you who are helping her do the same.
