On behalf of Ankur’s friends and colleagues, we are raising funds to support Ankur Jandial and his family following a devastating house fire at their home in Walkley Heights, Adelaide, on Wednesday, 5 August 2026.

Ankur, his wife Nancy, and their two children are thankfully safe, but their home was destroyed by the fire and will need to be demolished and rebuilt. They have also lost many of their personal belongings and now face the enormous practical and emotional challenge of rebuilding their lives.

The family is insured, but insurance claims, demolition and rebuilding can take considerable time. This fundraiser is intended to provide immediate support in the days and weeks ahead, helping with temporary accommodation, clothing, household essentials, meals and other day-to-day expenses while their insurance claim is assessed and longer-term arrangements are put in place.

Anyone who knows Ankur knows the kind of person he is. He is generous, hardworking and always willing to help others. He brings warmth and positivity to those around him and is a valued colleague and trusted friend.
