On August 10th, 2026 Angela Whetstone (Angie) was attacked my her dog that she rescued.feom the shelter back in the beginning of 2025! The dog did a good bit of damage to both of her hands, requiring 10 or more stitches per hand! Angie has had to have 2 sets of rabies shots and has 2 more to go!! Right now the swelling is so bad the surgeon can't tell what all is damaged or if surgery will be needed. However, he thinks there is a great possibility of nerve damage being she has lost feeling in her right thumb completely. He will recheck her again on the 19th to hopefully get a better idea of what will need to be done.. Angie has back to back appointments coming up with different doctors! They have her on several medications to help fight infections and to keep her comfortable!

Angie is normally the money maker and the one paying her bills at home. With her unable to use her hands, she is unable to work and provide. Her biggest fear is her losing her home due to her not being able to work. We are praying that she isn't down long, maybe 1 1/2 -2 months tops, if everything goes well.. this GoFundMe is to help pay her bills, gas to and from doc appointments, and get her medications during that time frame! I'm gonna ask for only what is needed during a 2 month period.. Anything else, we will cross that bridge when we get to it!!
