As neighbors and friends, we are coming together to support a family in our community who experienced a devastating house fire this week. Angela’s home was originally her grandmother’s, who purchased it in 1969. It has remained in their family ever since. The home holds generations of memories, history, and deep sentimental value. Seeing it so severely damaged has been heartbreaking for everyone who knows this family and the legacy tied to this house.

At the same time, Angela is navigating a major life transition. She is currently in the process of adopting a Deaf child, who due to unexpected circumstances, could no longer remain with his previous adoptive family. This season has already required immense strength, stability, and care — and the fire has added an overwhelming and unexpected burden.

We are incredibly grateful that everyone is physically safe. This fundraiser is being created to help support immediate and ongoing needs related to the fire, including recovery and clean-up costs, temporary housing, and helping restore a sense of safety and stability during this critical transition.
