Supporting Ange in Her Time of Need

“To know her is to love her” is an expression that resonates when describing Angela Hejna. For all of you who know Ange, she has always been the friend and family member that is there for everyone she loves and cares about.

This girl…is a true gem. She is a daughter, a mom, a sister, a friend, a medical professional. She is the girl who will give you the shirt off her back if you need it. A friend to everyone. The kindest, most loving and beautiful soul you’d ever be blessed enough to meet and befriend. She is the girl who will keep you grounded and speak truth even when it’s not what you want to hear. She is so many things to so many of us.

Now, it’s our turn to be all those things and more for her. Ange was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and just underwent a radical double mastectomy and has a bit of a long road ahead of her. In addition to being unable to work for an extended period of time to allow her to heal completely from this first surgery and subsequent surgeries, there are additional unknown elements and expenses including imaging, cancer treatments, medications and other unknown medical expenses that insurance will not fully cover. As a single mother to 4-year-old Mila, there are additional expenses that will be incurred to ensure medical and childcare needs are managed throughout this challenging time.

Any contribution will be directly provided to Ange to ensure all medical and childcare expenses are covered.
