Supporting Andre Lymperopoulos

The Lymperopoulos family have been our friends for over 10 years. They are like family to us. They’ve had their Iives turned upside down and haven’t even been able to celebrate Christmas with each other yet. It breaks my heart to even write these words because they don’t deserve to be going through this.

Andre and Lindsay are high school sweethearts and have been together for 18 years. They have 3 beautiful children and 2 big goofy dogs. Lindsay stays at home to care for their children while Andre is the sole provider for the family. If you were to meet this family, you’d become friends right then and there. They are the kind of people that would give you the shirts off their backs.

On December 15th, Andre went to Urgent Care for an extremely high heart rate and was having difficulty breathing. At that time the doctor told him he was just stressed and he could be suffering from anxiety.

But on December 24th Andre declined dramatically and fearful it was more than just stress, Lindsay took Andre to the ER. With lots of testing done, they diagnosed Andre with Hairy Cell Leukemia. Usually only needing 2 rounds of chemo, we are praying and hopeful it will then go into deep remission.

Andre works so hard for his family AND his friends. Now it’s time for us to work hard for him. I’ve started this GoFundMe to relieve Andre and Lindsay of any financial stress they could have. We don’t want them to worry about medical bills or any monthly bills that disability doesn’t cover while Andre is healing. Especially in this Covid world we live in right now, Andre isn’t able race back to work after just receiving chemo.
