Help Our Family Support My Mom After Losing Brett

My mom and Brett have been married for 24 years — truly the love of each other’s lives. After a long battle with lung cancer, Brett’s body has finally grown too tired to keep fighting. He passed away on 10/3/25 @16:48 and is now in heaven with Mr Wiggles.

My mom has been living on limited income, and the medical bills and upcoming funeral costs are overwhelming. On top of this, my daughter and I are overseas in Korea. Flights for us are nearly $2700.00, and two of my three sons are also trying to make it there as well to support my mom.

• Support for my mom as she transitions after losing her husband

My mom is humble, giving and loving and never asks for help, even now she is caring for one of her friends in her home who is also on hospice with uterine cancer. She may not see it but she is always putting others needs before her own — but right now, she needs our help.
