Many of us who have met Amy Fillers have probably been helped out by her in some capacity. She is one of the most noble giving people I have ever met and a true badass. She didn’t want to ask for help, as is her nature but she has had a very tragic situation occur.

The building and business her family has operated for 30 years burned down on 12/16 in the late night hours. This was Amy’s main source of income and it is what has allowed her to volunteer so much of her free time to help her many friends, charities and organizations. And now she isn’t sure of her next steps.

Her insurance situation is dodgy at best and she is unsure if they’re going to cover it or even if the tenant, who was occupying part of the space, will have insurance to cover it. So this leaves her in a lurch for a few months while the insurance companies and the authorities do a full investigation.

I wouldn’t normally do this for just anyone but she’s been a true friend and helper on my projects and I want the community to come together to show her their support. So if you can spare a few bucks to help out that would be fantastic and so appreciated. As a hyper independent person myself, it is hard to ask for the help we often give to others for ourselves. So I am asking on her behalf and to alleviate some of her stress and woes.
