Supporting Amrit Pal Singh Open Heart treatment

Hi, I’m Roop Kanwar Kaur, daughter of Amrit Pal Singh(64), and fundraising for his life saving open heart Surgery. He arrived in Australia just last month for a short stay and was healthy. He never had any heart complications before.Now, He is suffering from Pulmonary edema and has his three arteries blocked due to a heart attack and couldn’t breathe without oxygen support. With this, he has fluid filled in his lungs due to Pneumonia which is worsening the blockage and making it more difficult for heart to pump blood. He is currently on ventilator support in ICU in Sunshine Hospital and requires immediate open heart surgery. He has already been here in Sunshine hospital since a week(where he was transferred from Werribee Mercy Hospital after spending two days in ED). He will be further transferred to Royal Melbourne hospital for the surgery.

His overseas insurance which has coverage of USD 50,000 has declined any support because of pre-existing Diabetes and Hypertension condition. Same is the case with local insurance.

Any donations will help with his surgery, ventilator support, ICU charges, radiology, Other medicals bills and Ambulance transportation cost.
