No parent should ever have to bury their child — and certainly not twice.
Amie is a woman with a truly beautiful heart. She has spent her life caring for others, especially the elderly, bringing comfort, compassion, and joy to so many people through her work and her mission of service. Anyone who knows Amie knows her kindness, her warmth, and the way she always puts others before herself.
Today, Amie and her husband Anthony are facing a heartbreaking loss that no parent should ever have to endure. On March 8, 2026, their daughter Jessica, just 23 years old, tragically passed away in a devastating car accident.
Jessica was a loving mother to her sweet 2-year-old son, Damien Jr., who was the center of her world. She loved him deeply and took great pride in caring for him. With Jessica’s life cut far too short, Damien Jr. is now left without his mother.
In the midst of overwhelming grief, Amie and Anthony are also carrying the responsibility of helping raise their young grandson while navigating the unimaginable pain of losing their daughter.
This tragedy comes after Amie has already endured an unimaginable loss years ago when her young son passed away at just 9 years old. No parent should have to experience this kind of heartbreak twice.
Amie and Anthony are people who have always given so much to others and to their community. Their kindness, compassion, and generosity have touched many lives. Now, during this incredibly difficult time, they need the support of those around them.
This fundraiser will help support the family with funeral expenses for Jessica and help provide stability and care for Damien Jr. as Amie and Anthony work to give him the love, security, and future every child deserves.
If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, your kindness will help lift some of the burden during this incredibly painful time. If you cannot donate, sharing this page and keeping this family in your prayers means just as much.
Our hope is to surround Amie, Anthony, and Damien Jr. with the same love and support that Amie has so freely given to others throughout her life. Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
