Support Amanda Turner

Donation protected
Our friend and colleague Amanda Turner was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She will be receiving her chemo treatments over the next few months at the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City. Amanda’s life has been turned upside down, but with the support of family and friends, she’s feeling hopeful.

Amanda and her family are deeply involved in the Teton County community. Amanda has worked for Teton County School District #1 for 18 years. Over the course of her career, first as a paraprofessional, then as a 2nd grade teacher, and now, as a 5th grade teacher, Amanda has impacted the lives of more than 350 students in Jackson.

Outside of the classroom, Amanda, Robert, and their two girls, Clarie (11) and Lilly (8), live at Triangle X Ranch. They help manage the ranch that was founded in 1926. Together with the Turner family, they find many ways to give back to our community.

Because of Amanda’s unexpected diagnosis and now her treatments down in Salt Lake City, we hope to take some of the financial strain off of them. If you are able to make a donation, please know that the money will be used for lodging in Salt Lake City, travel expenses, uncovered medical expenses, family visits (Claire and Lilly are currently staying with family in Jackson), and to help cover lost wages during treatments.

Thank you for all of your support!
