Our family is facing something we never imagined we’d be writing. My sister has recently been diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, an aggressive form of breast cancer that requires intensive treatment.

She is a devoted mother of five beautiful children, a beloved wife, a passionate elementary school teacher who loves her littles in the classroom like her own, and a daughter of God whose faith continues to anchor her during this incredibly difficult time.

Her treatment plan includes chemotherapy and surgery, with radiation and the possibility of additional chemotherapy afterward, depending on how she responds to treatment. A journey that will demand strength, resilience, and focus. While we are incredibly grateful for modern medicine and hopeful for healing, the reality is that this diagnosis brings a significant emotional and financial burden for her and her family.

Between lost income while on leave, the day to day needs of a large family, and the added costs of travel to appointments, meals, and supportive care options, the financial strain adds up quickly. Our hope is to ease this burden so she can focus on what matters most: healing and being present for her family.
