Supporting Amanda as she kicks cancer to the curb!

Hello! My name is Pam Crants and I started this gofundme on behalf of a new Breastie Amanda Fulton! Here is Amanda’s story in her words

I am a mom to a 22 month old son who I absolutely adore. I have been diagnosed with stage 3 triple negative metastatic breast cancer. I want to be around to see my son grow up, so we are choosing to treat it as aggressively as my body will allow which means I will be getting weekly chemotherapy and will be unable to work. When I have completed chemotherapy I will have a double mastectomy which comes with a long recovery followed by radiation. We are already struggling financially due to a rise in household expenses and a decrease in my husband’s hours at work, but we still do not qualify for local assistance programs. Now we have the added expenses of cancer treatment locally and also the expenses traveling to city of hope that they are unable to help with.

My family is still trying to bounce back from the financial strain my mom’s cancer battle put on our family, and my dad just recently returned to work. He is now having to miss time from work again as are my mom and my husband so they can help get me to appointments and take care of my son and I.

The money raised will go towards medical copays (which are really piling up), paying for testing that insurance did not cover, prescription costs, gas to get to my weekly infusions, groceries, and household bills like our mortgage, water/sewer, and electricity.
