Our hearts are broken as we share that Alyssa suffered a massive stroke and is currently in the ICU. The damage to her brain is severe and her family is taking things moment by moment. As her care now shifts to a comfort-focused approach, her family's only focus is being by her side - surrounding her with love, dignity and peace.

At the same time, they are facing significant medical expenses, time away from work, and the many costs that come with prolonged ICU care, along with the very difficult decisions that are now being made. We are asking for help so Alyssa's family can focus on what matters most - being present with her - without the constant weight of financial strain. Any contribution, no matter amount, will help ease the burden.

Alyssa is deeply loved and has touched countless lives with her spirit, kindness and light. Alyssa is a long-standing employee at Kohl's and a classroom aide in the Old Bridge Township Public School preschool program and took the very best care of children of all abilities. Her hugs were like no other and she loved deeply. Alyssa is and always will be a shining light in the Old Bridge community.
