With Althea's permission - and with a very reluctant heart on her part - we're sharing this because we know how much she means to so many of you.

On July 7, Althea will undergo extensive and highly invasive surgery on her brain. While we're keeping the details private for now, we would truly appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and positive vibes. She has a long road to recovery ahead and will be away from work while she focuses on healing.

Many of you have reached out to ask how you can support Althea during this time, and we truly appreciate your kindness. More than anything, your prayers, love, and words of encouragement mean the world to her and our family.

For those who have also asked if there is another way to help, we've created this fundraiser to help lighten the financial burden while Althea focuses on her recovery. Any support will help cover medical expenses, everyday household bills, and the income she'll miss during the time she's unable to work, allowing her to put her energy where it belongs…on healing.
