Hi, my name is Nicky Ford and I'm fundraising for Allie Durling and her family.

Allie Durling is a beautiful, kind-hearted 22-year-old woman with a deep passion for caring for children. She recently worked at the Super Stars Daycare Infant Center in Charlottetown, PEI, where her love for early childhood education shone through every day. Wanting to further follow her calling, Allie returned to school in New Brunswick to continue her studies as an Early Childhood Educator.

On Saturday, February 7th, Allie’s life changed in an instant when she was seriously injured in a ski accident at Poley Mountain in Sussex, New Brunswick. She was rushed to Saint John Regional Hospital, where doctors discovered she had suffered a broken back, a T3 spinal cord injury, broken ribs, and a punctured lung. Allie underwent surgery to repair her vertebrae and currently remains in the ICU as she begins this incredibly difficult journey.

Allie is facing several months of hospitalization and intensive rehabilitation as she works toward recovery. Much of her rehab will take place in Saint John and Fredericton, which means significant travel for her family over the coming year. During this time, there will be mounting costs related to travel, accommodations, lost wages for a parent who needs to stay by Allie’s side, and potential long-term medical needs.

We are asking, with grateful hearts, for any donation—big or small—to help ease the financial burden on Al-lie and her family so they can focus fully on her healing. If you’re unable to donate, your positive thoughts, prayers, and messages of support are just as meaningful and deeply appreciated.
