Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts,

I’m reaching out to share the inspiring journey of my remarkable friend, Sherry, a mother of three, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and a fierce advocate for women’s health. Sherry’s friendship for the past 25 years has been like no other.

Sherry was diagnosed with stage four inflammatory breast cancer just over a year ago. Her world had been turned upside yet again, as she has recently received devastating news that it has metastasized to her brain. As she prepares for brain surgery, she remains an amazing example of strength and resilience for her family and friends.

“Giving up is not an option” are words I’ve heard her say many times and she has shown us time and time again that she won’t.

Sherry has turned her diagnosis into a platform for advocacy, educating women about the importance of early detection and self-exams. She’s participated in charity events like CIBC Run for the Cure, tirelessly working to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Her Instagram handle, @ATaleOf2Titties, reflects her witty, sarcastic personality and her determination to find humor even in the most challenging times.

Now, Sherry needs our help. The unexpected and financial burdens of her treatment and recovery should not be an additional source of stress for her and her family during this critical time. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help provide her with the peace of mind that comes from knowing she has our support.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 to cover essential expenses such as care support during her recovery, meal preparation, transportation to appointments, loss of income, and other necessary assistance. This will allow her to focus on healing and spending time with her children and husband rather than worrying about the financial strain.
