Hello, my name is Selena. I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced.

In November, we lost my mom, and we are still grieving that heartbreaking loss. Now, our world has been shaken again.

A month later in December, my dad fell 20 feet while cutting down a tree in his backyard. The fall caused severe injuries, and he has had to undergo multiple surgeries. As a result, he is currently paralyzed in his legs. It’s hard to put into words the pain of losing one parent and nearly losing the other so soon after. Our lives have been turned upside down in every way. This has been devastating for our family emotionally and financially. My dad is now facing a long and uncertain road ahead, including ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and major life adjustments.

He is now unable to work and facing financial burdens from my mom's passing. We are asking for help to cover medical expenses, rehabilitation costs, and home modification expenses as we prepare to bring him home and navigate this new reality without my mom.

My Dad is a strong, caring, hardworking man who has always done everything he could for our family.He’s the kind of person who would show up for anyone in need without hesitation. Seeing him go through this has been incredibly difficult. Now, he’s facing a long road of recovery, and we’re doing everything we can to support him.
