Supporting Alexandria + Her Fight Against Cancer

Alexandria was diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer which spread to her liver and stomach in August of 2018. Anyone who has followed her updates, knows that her journey has been anything but easy.

Alex traveled to Mexico City in March to receive a new cancer drug that is still in its trial stage. This means it has not been approved by the FDA (hence Mexico) and is still in its trial period. Her parents had to pay for the immunotherapy out of pocket as insurance did not cover this procedure. As Alex stated on an update, she (and everyone else) “is grateful that I have such amazing parents who put my health before anything else.”

While we have all been praying, hoping and sending positive vibes for good results, Alex found out last week that she had an infection and had to go in for emergency surgery. She was told by her physician that she may not make it. She has and is currently in an induced coma as she has more surgeries to hopefully help resolve the infection.
