Supporting Alesia's Fight Through Breast Cancer!

Hi everyone, we have set this account up as a way for everyone to show their support for Alesia while she fights breast cancer. Any donations, shares, and/or emotional support you could give would go a long way and let Alesia know we are all here for her during this difficult time.

Alesia's is a 40 year old single mom of 2, with her youngest daughter Charlee being only 8 years old. She had her very first mammogram in July 2022, which found a mass in her left breast. After additional scans and ultrasounds of the mass she was scheduled for a biopsy that took place on 7/20/22. On 7/22/22 she was given the results of the biopsy, which showed the mass was Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She is ER+ PR+, and at high risk of having the BRCA 1/2 Gene which will call for an even more invasive surgery & much more extensive treatment than planned. Alesia's treatment plan so far involves an upcoming surgery, 2 months of radiation and/or additional months of chemotherapy, then 5-10 years of hormone blocking pill treatment. Balancing kids, work, life as a single mother is very hard; but the hardships, stress, worry, and battle Alesia faces now is a terrifying thought to go through alone.

We all know Alesia is a tough fighter in every sense of the word, but her journey to overcome Breast Cancer will be a tough one.. even for her. Unfortunately, any time taken off work is unpaid by her employer; so work hours and days missed for surgery, treatments, recovery, and appointments will greatly impact her financial ability to support herself and her daughter through this time.

This whole situation will be incredibly difficult financially and emotionally for Alesia and her kids. We are hoping that raising this money for her will help relieve some of her stress and worry about covering any portion of her monthly bills and expenses she is unable to cover due to missed hours/days from work; as well as some of the unexpected bills/expenses, child care costs, and transportation costs that she will encounter over the next year. Let's all help Alesia get through this fight a little easier by relieving some of the financial stress, worry, and burden this is having on her.
