Supporting Al after he Lost Everything in a Fire
On the night of December 1, 2020 Al and his wife Michele were in their apartment when the business below it caught fire. Despite Al's efforts to save her, Michele died in the fire and Al was hospitalized. The apartment was attached to Hanson Implement and Storage in Maple Grove, MN.
Al has been Highway 55 Rental's lead mechanic for nearly 10 years and is a beloved member of our small business family. Since Al lost most of his belongings and his home in this awful fire, we are administering this GoFundMe page as an additional lifeline to help Al rebuild his life beyond the funeral and memorial expenses associated with the tragic loss of his wife.
All funds raised will go to Al Hanson to help cover rent, food, future medical expenses and all other basic costs of living while he begins to adjust to a new life as a single income earner and widower.
