Hi everyone,

I’m creating this GoFundMe for my sister, Aimee, who at just 30 years old is fighting breast cancer.

One of the hardest side effects she’s facing is hair loss. While it may seem small compared to everything else, losing her hair has been incredibly confronting for her. We’re raising funds for a good-quality wig to help her feel more like herself during a time when so much feels out of her control.

Medical-grade wigs suitable for cancer treatment are unfortunately very expensive. This fundraiser will help cover the cost of a natural-looking, comfortable wig so Aimee can feel confident, dignified, and supported as she continues treatment.

Aimee is one of the kindest, warmest, most caring people, and she doesn’t usually ask for much. But as a mum to an amazing 8-year-old, and as a woman, maintaining a sense of normalcy during this time is especially important to her.
