Hello everyone, my name is Adam Maple, and for years I've dedicated my life to my work as a contractor. I've always taken pride in my ability to build, fix, and provide for my family through honest hard work. It's not easy for me to ask for help as I've always been one to tackle challenges head-on. However, a recent unfortunate event has left me in a difficult position, and I'm reaching out to my community for help and support. On Sunday May 25th I was in a severe motorcycle accident and I sustained multiple fractures to my neck, back and ribs .While I am incredibly fortunate to be alive and not paralyzed my road to recovery is long and painful, and very expensive. As a self employed contractor, my livelihood is directly tied to my physical ability to be on jobsites use my hands and oversee projects . This accident has abruptly halted my ability to work and therefore my income is at a standstill. Doctors estimate months before I can even consider returning to the demanding physical work that defines my profession. I'm a fighter, and I'm determined to get back on my feet .
