Supporting Adam in His Fight Against Craniopharyngioma

Dear friends, family, and caring souls,

I'm reaching out to share the story of Adam, a brave 17-year-old battling a rare brain tumour called Craniopharyngioma. While it may not be life-threatening at this stage, it's already robbing Adam of the joys of being a teenager.

Craniopharyngioma has kept Adam away from school, causing him pain with headaches and vomiting. He's undergone five surgeries and tried different treatments, but the tumour persists, making life uncertain. Yet, through it all, Adam finds happiness and peace in playing his guitar, a passion that brings him joy during the struggle.

Adam dreams of studying biomedical engineering, a field where he hopes to make a difference in others' lives. But first, he needs our help to face this challenge head-on. We're raising funds to support Adam’s journey to Florida for a proton radiation treatment, hoping to ease his pain and restore his quality of life, so that he may continue to do what he loves.

We, a group of close friends of the Dembs, decided to launch an initiative in support of the family’s journey and Adam’s in particular. It is not a short journey. Adam will be escorted by one of his parents and both will be away for three months. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a big impact. It'll help cover medical expenses and travel costs, allowing Adam to focus on what truely matters; healing and pursuing his dreams.
