Supporting Aarti’s Fight

Meet Aarti Sanghavi, a remarkable individual who has always been there for others, a beacon of kindness, and a pillar of strength for those in need. Aarti has a heart of gold, readily stepping up to help and support anyone facing challenges, offering a listening ear, and a comforting presence. Now, it's our turn to rally around Aarti as she embarks on a battle of her own; invasive ductal carcinoma, Grade 3, triple-negative breast cancer.

Aarti's journey takes a challenging path as triple-negative breast cancer limits the treatment options available, forcing her into an aggressive chemotherapy regimen. As a single household, with the ongoing threat of things like the Flu, and COVID-19, her immune system has been severely compromised, leaving her at an increased risk of illnesses. Maintaining her current public-facing role, given her compromised immune system, is not a sustainable approach to meeting her fundamental financial needs.

The financial burden that comes with medical treatment can be overwhelming, even when it shouldn't be a factor in a fight like this. Our healthcare system remains flawed, leaving many in situations where they must confront both the physical and financial strains of their illness. Although Aarti is on disability, it only covers 50% of her salary. Being the kind and selfless person she is, she would never ask for help, but that's why we are here.

Our goal is to provide Aarti with the peace of mind she needs to focus entirely on her battle against cancer. By alleviating the financial stress that often accompanies medical treatments, we can empower Aarti to maintain her unwavering determination to overcome this obstacle.
