Supporting a Youth Robotics Project Through Community Giving

Donation protected
This fundraising initiative supports a youth robotics project focused on the design, construction, and testing of an FTC competition robot. The team is operating without commercial sponsors or external funding and is independently responsible for all aspects of the project. This includes mechanical design, programming, testing, and the construction of a DIY competition playing field to enable proper practice and development.

CAMCARE UK has already contributed 1000 GBP, providing essential initial support and allowing the project to begin. To ensure the successful continuation and completion of the robot, the project now requires an additional 1000 GBP. These funds will be used to purchase critical equipment, including motors, sensors, electronic components, tools, and materials required for safe and effective operation.

Project Objectives
  • Acquire essential robotics components and tools
  • Complete and maintain a functional DIY practice field
  • Support ongoing testing, refinement, and technical learning
  • Provide young participants with hands-on experience in engineering and problem-solving

If everyone is donating only 1 or 2 pounds, we as a community could help the team immediately.

Beyond the technical aspects of robotics, this project develops teamwork, resilience, discipline, and confidence. Community support plays a key role in enabling these learning opportunities and reinforcing the value of youth-led innovation.

We invite you to support this project by donating 1 GBP or more and by sharing this campaign.
