I am a mother of four, and my journey to nursing school has not been easy. I became a mother at a young age, and since then, I have worked hard to balance raising my children, working, and completing my prerequisite courses. Over the past six years, there have been many challenges, long nights, and moments when I felt overwhelmed. There were also many tears along the way.
I grew up learning to be independent and to handle things on my own, rarely asking for help. But with the challenges of nursing school ahead, I realize it truly takes a village. While I will continue to work and do everything I can to support my family, I know that pursuing this dream will require support.
I am currently raising funds for my first semester of nursing school to help cover the many expenses that come with starting the program—such as supplies, uniforms, books, and other required costs. Any support will help ease some of the financial stress and allow me to focus on succeeding in school and building a better future for my children.
After years of hard work and perseverance, I am proud to say that I have finally been accepted into nursing school. This achievement means so much to me, not only for my future but also as an example to my children that with dedication and persistence, anything is possible.
Thank you so much for your support and for being part of my journey.
