Hi, my name is Paige. I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

My son’s father and my partner of eight years passed away unexpectedly on January 3rd. We share a beautiful one-year-old child, and his sudden death has turned our world upside down.

Although we had recently separated (in December) due to his struggle with addiction, it was my hope that asking him to leave would be his wake up call, and he would get clean and be able to come home. We were also still connected through our child and shared financial responsibilities. His passing has left me grieving while also facing the immediate reality of covering housing, utilities, childcare, and other bills on my own — all while trying to keep life as stable and safe as possible for our son.

This fundraiser is to help cover:

Immediate living expenses and shared bills

Childcare and baby necessities

Transportation and basic daily needs

Giving us time to grieve and stabilize without the constant fear of losing our home or falling behind

Any support — whether donating or sharing — means more than I can put into words. My focus right now is being present for my child and ensuring he continues to feel safe, loved, and supported during this incredibly painful time.
