Hello, my name is Naybi Nikte-Ha Requejo Mendoza.
I am a PhD in Neuroscience (CINVESTAV-IPN, Mexico) and I have recently been accepted as a postdoctoral visiting fellow at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in the United States.
This opportunity represents a major professional milestone and the chance to bring Mexican scientific training and perspective into an international research environment, with the long-term goal of contributing knowledge back to my country through research, teaching, and collaboration.
While the NIH provides academic support, initial relocation expenses are not covered, including:
- Visa and immigration fees
- Airfare
- Temporary housing upon arrival
- Initial rent and basic living expenses
Over the past two years, I completed my doctoral training without financial compensation, driven by a deep commitment to science as a public good. I am now seeking support to be able to relocate responsibly and begin my research work.
Any contribution: large or small, will make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for supporting science, education, and international collaboration.
This fundraising campaign is personal and community-supported. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the NIH. My Visiting Fellow appointment is currently under administrative processing.
