Instead, it delivered the unthinkable: a diagnosis of stage 4 colon cancer. At just 47 years old, Trevor is a devoted husband, a loving father to his 11-year-old daughter, and the kind of person who would drop everything to help anyone in need. Trevor underwent colon surgery, holding onto hope that they were moving forward. But less than a year later, their hearts broke again when the cancer spread to his liver. Since then, this family has endured countless long trips and extended stays in Houston for specialized care. Trevor has had major liver surgery, setbacks that no family should have to face, and hospitalizations that seem never-ending. After finally making it home, he was there for less than 24 hours before needing to be hospitalized again—and now faces yet another return to Houston.

Through all of this, Trevor and his family keep showing up with courage, faith, and love for one another. But the emotional, physical, and financial toll is immense.
