Support a Leading Child Rights Advocate in Ukraine

During the Russian Federation's armed aggression against Ukraine, children remain one of the most vulnerable groups of the civilian population. Ukraine urgently needs durable child-protection systems—designed and led by Ukrainian experts. In the midst of the current conflict, Iryna Suslova is working to put into place a national child rights protection system in Ukraine.

Iryna is already a leader in the field. From her years spent as a Member of Parliament in Ukraine to her time as Representative of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) on Child Rights to her current post as head of the Analytical Centre, Iryna has been at the frontline for advocacy and policy on child rights, both before and after the full-scale Russian invasion. She's currently working towards a degree where her thesis project will lay the groundwork for a comprehensive national system for the protection of children’s rights, as the most vulnerable citizens of Ukraine.

Funds raised will contribute to tuition and academic materials at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School, enabling her to focus on research and completion of her thesis, furthering her work in protecting the children of Ukraine.
