Our child care journey began in 2015, rooted in a simple but powerful intention: to create a safe, nurturing place where children feel seen, supported, and free to grow. Over the years, this centre has become more than a space of care — it has become a second home for many families and a meaningful part of our community.

In March 2025, we took a big step forward by renovating an old church, guided by the vision of expanding and creating 30 new child care spaces to better support local families. Countless hours, resources, and heart went into transforming this building into a warm, welcoming environment for children. In July, our occupancy was granted, marking an exciting milestone in this long-held dream. In October, the occupancy for the lower portion of the building was revoked, bringing the need for further work and adjustments to the space. We want you to know that the city of Castlegar is trying to help in any way they can and to help us to continue to operate as usual until issues are resolved.
