On May 4th 2016, wildfires destroyed my home along with everything that I owned in Waterways Fort McMurray, AB. Unfortunately, I do not have home insurance because of the age of my home. Although it was an older mobile home, it was still home to me, my son, my grandson and often my great granddaughter.

I am 68 years old and continue to work full time. I was looking forward to retiring in March 2017, however these new circumstances will force me to work longer. I work as a support worker for the survivors of the Indian Residential School at the Athabasca Tribal Council. I am a lifelong resident of the RMWB and this will always be my home. 

All of your generous contributions will go towards assisting me in the purchase of a new mobile home which I will put on my mobile lot in Waterways.
