My wonderful sister, an amazing mother to a 7 years old daughter has been diagnosed with stage 3 Uterine Sarcoma (Leiomyosarcoma) cancer.
On 10/5/2015, I received a phone call from my sister complaining about an unbearable abdominal pain and pleaded me to bring her to the emergency room. After spending a whole day at the ER, she was taken to receive all kind of tests and scans. The initial diagnose by the doctor was a uterine fibroid and a tumor around the uterus. She was then scheduled for operation on 11/2/2015. During the operation, the doctor found out the cancer was very high grade aggressive and decided to remove the whole uterus and ovaries to stop it from spreading to other parts of the body. She is now recovering and will require Chemotherapy treatment.
My sister is a single mother and works hard to support the family. Due to her health situation, she is forced to close down her small business. She lost her only source of income. Any money we raised here will be used to support her medical cost and living expense during this difficult time, so Hesty can stay focused to fight on. A little bit goes a long way.
First round of Chemotherapy is scheduled for 12/3/2015.
Let's pray hard for Hesty and ask God to help her to beat this nasty cancer. She's a warrior and I know she'll win this battle!
