Really angry about this. Herd In The City is an elephant-themed art trail that has been running over the Summer Holidays in Southend, Leigh and Shoeburyness to raise money for Havens Hospices, including ‘Little Havens’ which is one of the most respected hospices for children in the UK.

Literally everyone I know locally has either had a relative or a friend or a friend of a friend who has benefited from their love and care over the years. Lollie, the elephant sculpture in Leigh-on-Sea has been smashed up by vandals, and it’s disgusting.

Not only are the idiots responsible depriving adults and children alike of a little piece of the fun, but they’re also attacking a major fundraising mechanism for this charity. I’ve set up this appeal to donate - even if it’s only a couple of quid it will make a huge difference, so please share this too.
