This campiagn is to show support, encouragement and help ease the finanical burden through our loved one's journey back to health.  As many of you know Gerard has been living with kidney disease for many years successfully but the disease has changed and taken a turn, so the search for a new kidney is on.  This is an emotional time, a scary time and beyond all that, there are the added the stresses that a life threatening illness bring; numerous doctor appointments, tests, loss of work time and medical costs not covered by OHIP or benefits. 

 Gerard, his wife and kids are loved by so many, they've given to so many. This is a way for their family, friends and the communities that they have served for so long, to help this beautiful family as they walk through a life threatening illness.  This is a place to lift Gerard and his family up in hope, to say we will walk this with you and you are never alone.
