I know most of you don't personally know these few people.. I'm about to mention but if you have the time of day to just read what I have to say about them, I would appreciate it more than you know. My aunt Melissa and Uncle Greg Browning moved from Kansas to Texas in 2004 with their daughter Macie. They moved for Greg's family and his job down there! About ten years later Melissa was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Like many other cancers, its uncurable but treatment of course can help. She was also diagnosed with RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis) which made every single daily activity like brushing her hair, doing the dishes, nearly impossible, luckily she had her daughter who is now 14 there to help her. Feburary 12th, 2017 around 2pm I got a call. My uncle had stopped at a gas station to get something to drink, the owners honestly thought he was drunk. They called the cops on him and once the cops showed up they had found my uncle Greg in his truck.. he had a stroke. He was rushed to the hospital where he ended up having 3-4 more strokes while in their care. That means 4 more blood clots developed in his brain within 48 hours. The word stroke alone should scare anyone. When a stroke happens most people HAVE to get therapy to help them move their bodies like before. Thats exactly what my uncle has to do, for the first couple days he could hardly move his whole left side from his face all the way to his toes. Monday Feburary 20th, they released him from the hospital, which is wonderful news! While my aunt was trying to sign him up for disability they found out that his company no longer has short term disability. They have to pay about $75 a day for Greg to be able to do his rehab. Not only does my Aunt Melissa have to help take care of Greg every day and every day and their daughter Macie, she also has to continue her chemo treatments. They have rehab, chemo and a 14 year old daughter to take care of and with everything going on, they cannot work right now which means they cannot afford rent or bills either. There aren't many people I know who are more deserving of this help than they are. If anyone can donate to them it would mean the world to us. If you can't afford to donate, could you just share this post? Every little bit counts! Prayers please! My family and I thank you for everything!
