Support for Garrett Weeldreyer and His Family!

Donation protected
The Weeldreyer Family has been a pillar of the Parker Community for over 70+ years. Garrett graduated from Parker High School in 2005. He and his wife, Brittany, and their three children, McKinlee, Lochlann, and Maxxton, reside just outside of the Parker/Chancellor area. Garrett and Brittany remain actively involved within the community, church community, and in their children’s sporting activities.

This past Saturday, Garrett was helping coach flag football and felt his heart was racing and decided to go into the emergency room for further evaluation. He ended up having further testing done and was later diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) and is awaiting confirmation from a bone marrow evaluation.

Garrett will start chemotherapy at Sanford where specialists can provide targeted treatment while he continues to receive blood and platelets to maintain his numbers. During this time, Garrett is to remain in the hospital. Treatment timelines are uncertain due to the rarity of this leukemia in his age group.

At this time, the hospital does not allow flowers or plants to be in his room. He and Brittany, along with all other guests, must wear a face mask. The family appreciates any and all continued prayers, calls, and messages. The Weeldreyers are grateful for everyone’s support during this difficult and uncertain time.

At this time, we also ask for your small-town support. Garrett and his family appreciate any and all help during this unfortunate time. Although Garrett is in the hospital, life still goes on outside and bills still need to be paid. Thank you for your support!
