Dear friends and family,

As many of you know my brother Garland is abroad in Germany persuing his dream of Olympic gold. My sister-in-law Stephanie believes in my brothers dream and moved abroad with him to give the support he needs to achieve their goal. 

On May 29 Stephanie felt ill and fainted in a German class she was taking. She went to the hospital and was sent home in good condition while doctors were running test to find out what happened. Five days later she fainted again shortly after Garland and her had dinner. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where she would pass away on June 8, 2015.

Hearbroken, Garland will continue Stephanie and his dream of winning an Olympic gold medal. To support my brother, my mother will be returning to Germany with him for a month. In order for her to be able to spend time with him we will need to raise the money for their flights, bills, time off, and other expenses while overseas.   I believe that Garlands needs this financial support to continue his dream in light and honor of Stephanie's life. I am unsure of all the cost right now, but anything would be a major help. Thank you all.
