We are a few small business owners here in Huntsville, AL, and we are devastated to hear that Garden Cove is having to close it's doors due to not being able to recover from an incident where a previous employee was embezzling money from their business.  The owners have been in our community for years, long before other health-food stores were introduced to the Huntsville area.  

Seeing people pour their hearts out about their disappointment in the store having to close has driven me to look into ways to help.  THIS is truly a great reason to put Gofundme to use AND support a business in our community who has ACTUALLY invested in us, our families, and our health.

We hope our token of love will either help them to keep the doors open OR provide them with a nice send off to thank them for their years of service, advice, and reasonable prices!

Per http://quickbooks.intuit.com/r/business-planning/start-costs-industry/ the average costs to startup a retail business is $32,000.  I don't know their true financial situation, but I feel like our community can come together and raise at least that much to help them stay active if they choose to, or show our love and appreciation and send them out in style!
