Herbert was an amazing husband, father, brother, son, and friend, who lived his life peacefully, and courageously to the very end. Cancer never broke Herbert’s faith or spirit; it didn’t stand a chance.
Herbert is survived by a beautiful wife, and two baby girls who will forever keep him alive in their minds and hearts.

Herbert and Stacy’s love story began in 2009, after meeting in church and quickly realizing they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. In 2013, the two began their dream of a lifelong future together and were married. Stacy and Herbert started building their family 3 years ago when they were blessed with a beautiful and energetic daughter, Sophia. Just 3 weeks ago, they welcomed their second gift, Zoe.
In an unexpected turn of events, their entire lives were turned upside down after receiving the devastating diagnosis that has one way or another affected us all: cancer.
At only 32, Herbert has received two rounds of chemotherapy for Stage 4 colon cancer since February, but has had to discontinue treatment to fight off infection. The cancer has since metastasized, and doctors have said nothing more can be done.
During what is probably the most difficult time of their lives, Herbert and Stacy have both demonstrated extraordinary strength and faith. There are no words to begin to describe Stacy’s selflessness, and Herbert’s peace in the midst of this turmoil. Thus, they are fighting this awful disease together with everything they have, and are in the process of seeking a second opinion at City of Hope.
Our hearts ache for the entire Liquidano family. We wish we had the power to make this sickness go away, and all the pain caused by it, but sadly our hands are tied. We are creating this fundraiser to alleviate the burden of all medical expenses, loss of income, cost of living, and any urgent future needs they may encounter, but most importantly for the Liquidano family to have the quality of life they deserve while they are together battling this awful disease. Our hope is that Herbert and Stacy can focus their time together on doing all the things they love, and creating lifelong memories that Stacy and their girls can hold on to forever. Whether you know the Liquidano family personally or in passing, we ask that you partner with us by donating, and help us make this possible.

La historia de amor de Herbert y Stacy comenzó en 2009, después de conocerse en la iglesia y darse cuenta rápidamente que querían pasar el resto de sus vidas juntos. En 2013, los dos comenzaron su sueño de un futuro juntos y se casaron. Stacy y Herbert comenzaron a construir su familia hace 3 años cuando fueron bendecidos con una hermosa y energética hija, Sophia. Hace solo 3 semanas, dieron la bienvenida a su Segundo bebe, Zoe.
En un giro inesperado , sus vidas enteras cambiaron al recibir el diagnóstico devastador que de una forma u otra nos a afectado a todos: el cáncer.
Con tan solo 32 años, Herbert recibió dos rondas de quimioterapia para el cáncer de colon en etapa 4 desde Febrero, pero ha tenido que interrumpir el tratamiento para combatir una infección. Desde entonces, el cáncer se ha metastatizado y los médicos han dicho que no se puede hacer nada más. Durante lo que probablemente sea el momento más difícil de sus vidas, Herbert y Stacy han demostrado mucha fortaleza y fe extraordinarias. Por lo tanto, están luchando contra esta horrible enfermedad con todo lo que tienen, y están en el proceso de buscar una segunda opinión en el hospital City of Hope.
