Cassondra was ran off the road on September 3. 2017. She is at Christiana hospital in Delaware.
She is paralyzed from just below her breasts down.
She doesn't know yet. There is a possiblility she may not be able to breathe on her own. We just don't know until she wakes up. She is still heavily medicated. I was there for one week, but I had to come home for a short time. I had hoped that I would be able to get her together and bring her back to Los Angeles, but she still sleeps.
She needs me to be there for her when she wakes up and the doctors tell her she will never be able to walk again. I need to be there for her. She is only 26 years old. She is in so much pain, from the spine reconstruction surgery, +)) ribs, collapsed lungs, that they haven't been able to ween her off of the fentanyl and propofal yet,and now she has pnuemonia on top of it all from the Ventilator.
The social worker tells me she wont be able to come here until she completes her rehabiliatation which is ions away from now, because she has Delaware medicaid and it would be no good in California.
I need to be able to go and see her. The plane ride there this last week cost me $1300.00 for a round trip ticket, motel and a rental car for 4 days. I have exhausted most of my savings and a majority of my paid time off.
I need help with money to pay for my next plane trip. I may be able to stay in a Ronald MCdonald house, but they wont pay for the plane tickets.
If you can help by sharing this to as many people as you can, I would be so grateful. There may be some people out there that can afford to help out, and I would be so grateful for that.
My little girl is only 26 years old, and she will never walk again, or feel the cold snow on her feet, or the warmth of water, or the feeling when she makes love to her soul mate, or be able to have a child, or even hold her bowels. She may not ever feel hungry again.
I feel like an idiot because I know deep down inside that do get anything done, I must do it myself.
