Treatment Support for Chuck Kahler

Chuck Kahler was recently diagnosed with  Stage 4 Lymphoma.   It was a mere 8- 9 weeks ago that he had a lump on his neck removed and yet here we are with this news so quickly.     No one is ever ready for this, but to say that this came as a shock for someone as young and otherwise healthy as Chuck is an understatement.  I have been asked by multiple people if there is anything they can do to help Chuck.  

He doesn't have a specific treatment plan at this time, but he has been told that he will need to do 6 rounds of chemotherapy. The location of his treatment is yet to be determined.   It could be in Peoria which is close to his home or in Chicago which is a couple of hours away.   

Either way,  this will be a significant burden on Chuck and his loved ones both emotionally and financially.   He has indicated that some of his close friends and family who are in the area have set up a "meal ring".   I was hoping that his Interface "Family" could come together and help him with some of the other costs associated with treatment.    (Ie. Travel costs, meals to eat out, lodging, etc.)  Once we have a better understanding of his treatment plan - we can determine where to put the money.
