As most of you already know, Kevin suddenly became ill in  the middle of July and things escalated quickly. After having two seizures, the doctors found a brain tumor and scheduled surgery for the following week.  After the removal of most of the tumor on July 21st, the biopsy showed that the tumor was in fact cancerous.
The type of cancer that he has, is called Astrocytoma grade 2. Astrocytomas are tumors that arise from astrocytes—star-shaped cells that make up the “glue-like” or supportive tissue of the brain. These grade 2 Astrocytomas tend to invade surrounding tissue and grow at a relatively slow pace.

In order to rid the rest of the tumor in his brain, he is all set to start Radiation and Chemotherapy for the next six weeks.  During this time he will be very weak and tired. His anti-seizure medication has also taken a toll on his energy level. Kevin is also unable to drive for the next six months, until he is seizure free on this medication.

Not being able to drive or work during this difficult time, makes him unable to maintain any income for now. He has bills just like we all do and needs our help. He now has hospital, medical and prescription bills, not to mention his current every day bills as well.

Please if you can, help Kevin in his time of need. I know he will truly appreciate anything and everything we can do to help, no matter the amount. He is such a wonderful person- full of life, laughter and love. It's incredibly heartbreaking to see what he is going through and what is yet to come.

Thank you so much!!!
